Greetings!

✧ Margo is a LA–based Story and 3D Artist with a focus on Art Direction and professional experience in animated and live-action short films, as well as product visualization and animation.

She earned her MFA in 3D Animation & Visual Effects from New York Film Academy. She finds herself most useful and efficient in productions when she acts as a bridge between 2D and 3D departments.

Margo directed and animated the hand-drawn short The Last Dance, which received Best Animated Short nominations at Academy Award– and BAFTA-qualifying festivals.

Her experience also includes working as a Story Artist and Animator on an independent short alongside DreamWorks Animation professionals and contributing to live-action films as a Story and Visualization Artist.

She is a Women in Animation (WIA) scholarship recipient and participated in a Mentorship Circle as a Story Artist and Character Designer.

Alongside her production work, she is a 3D Animation Technical Assistant at NYFA and a seasonal 3D Previsualization & Animation instructor at TUMO Los Angeles.

Working across 2D, 3D, stop-motion, and hybrid animation, Margo brings experience throughout the all production pipeline, including storyboarding, visdev, modeling, texturing, rigging, previs/layout, animation, motion capture, lighting and rendering. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to approach storytelling from both creative and technical perspectives, developing visually compelling stories from early concepts through final production.
